Welcome to the Couch 2 BQ community.
I started this site with one simple goal – to help me get back in shape.
And while getting back in shape is my personal goal, my hope is that by sharing my experiences along the way, others will also benefit.
There was a point in my life when I was fit and athletic. I played multiple sports and even ran a half marathon.
But I allowed life to get in the way of my health. Between working too many hours, eating too much hotel food, and falling into a sedentary lifestyle, my weight increased while my fitness decreased.
So I decided to make a change. I decided to start running again.
On this site, I will share my challenges as well as my successes. I’ll discuss running, eating, strength-building, and other training. I’ll share my recommendations for clothing, shoes, and technical gear. And I’ll explore the mental and motivational aspects of starting and keeping with an exercise program.
